How to report PDUs

Instructions on Filing PDU’s for an Austin Chapter or LIG Meeting
Please note that the process has changed effective September 2009!

  1. Go to www.pmi.org/ccrs/ and click "Log In" in the upper right corner.

  2. Enter your Username and Password, and click Log In.

  3. Click "Report PDU" -OR- click "Report professional development units".

  4. Under "PDU category", select Category 3: Registered Education Provider program / PMI Component Event (Note: chapters are called "components" in PMI)

  5. Click the down arrow on Activity Type, select "Report a Component 1-2 PDU Event", and click "NEXT"

  6. For the Component ID, enter C061 and then click "Search".

  7. Click on "C061" under Component ID.

  8. Enter the following fields to describe the activity:

    • For the activity date completed, enter the date of the event.  Note that this is in mm/dd/yyyy format.
    • For the activity title, enter the name of the presentation.
    • For the activity meeting number, enter a "1" if this was the first meeting you attended that day, or enter a "2" if this was your second meeting, etc.  If you only had one meeting to report pdu's that day, then just enter "1".  This field is to allow reporting of more than one event on the same day.
    • For the contact person, enter the name of the current president of AustinPMI, and Eileen Butler is the president of AustinPMI for 2009.  Beginning January 1, 2010 enter Tom Love for the contact person as he is the 2010 president.
    • For the phone number, enter 512-385-3646, which is the number for AustinPMI.
    • For the e-mail address, enter president@austinpmi.org.
    • For the confirm e-mail address field, enter president@austinpmi.org again.
    • Click "NEXT".

  9. Enter the number of PDU's you want to claim for the event, and click "NEXT".

  10. If the report looks correct, check the box next to "I agree this claim is accurate", and the click "SUBMIT".

  11. When the report comes back, print out a copy for your records. If you want to submit more pdu claims, click on "REPORT ANOTHER CLAIM". If not, you're done!
